COFFEE STAND

Fundraising committee

The responsibility of our amazing fundraising comittee is to raise money to support the Appalachian State American Marketing Association chapter so we can try to participate in as many opportunites that come our way. AMA members in this committee meet and brainstorm ideas for on and off campus events to host and raise funds.  This committe allows our members to learn how to plan, market and put events on. Some of our fundraising opporutnites in the past have been coffee stands in Peacock hall, working with national companies such as MindSumo and working with local businesses such as Come Back Shack.

Public Rleations Committee

The public relations committee controls all the marketing for the Appalachian State American Marketing Association. Using a combination of both traditional marketing tactics and social media, this committee offers its services so that the campus and community knows about the AMA and what we are trying to accomplish. This committee works with the fundraising committee to market upcoming events as well as works with other clubs and local businesses offering their marketing services.

Community Service Committee

The Appalachian State American Marketing Assocaition realizes how important it is to give back to the community, so our community service committee works hard to show our appreciation. The Appalachian AMA is a proud sponsor of two streets through the Boone Adopt-A-Street program which we care for to keep clean with our club street clean ups. This committee is also a proud volunteer with Partner's to Canines thorugh the Watauga Humane Society.

Planner Design/Distribution Committee

Every year the American Marketing Association is proud to design the cover of the campus planner given out in the beginning of every Fall semester. The cover is desinged by our talented team of students, and then is distributed throughout campus for free to the student body here at Appalchian State. Members are challenged to think of creative ways to distribute these planners across campus in residence halls, academic buildings and club fairs.
